Blog Me! Layout 2 & Grab Bag Sale

Well, I could not have imagined the response I've been getting from my boutique freebies! Thank you to all for your orders and kind words. I appreciate them both. I can tell you, it has kept me motivated and working like a woman possessed!


Firstly, Blog Me. Layout #2 from the kit "Ellie & Lucy" is ready to go. I packed it up and sent it off to Cyndi Wetmiller, the challenge coordinator, and it should be up on her blog shortly. As some of you may well know, Cyndi's blog is generating so much traffic they have mistaken her for a spamming blog! But it should all be rectified soon ;)

Also, DivineDigital.com is having a grab bag sale this weekend, July 4-6, and I'll be putting in a bag or two. I can't tell you what's going to be in them, only that they will be well worth the money!

Boutique Freebie #3 Released!

Hope you had a wonderful "first weekend in Summer" weekend, with lovely weather to boot! We ventured out on Sunday afternoon to the nearby park, and my little Nico got bombarded by mosquitoes! He hasn't slept through the night since, and I have to rub his legs to stop him from scratching (til the cream soaks in). But I'm now able to sleep WHILE I rub his bumpy little legs, so it's all good!


Now, onto the good stuff! So sorry for the delay in getting this to you. I was planning to have it in stores for the Big Sale weekend, but I'll just leave it up longer! Here goes:

Day 3 New Album Release & Delayed Boutique Freebie

Today is the final installment of my Boutique Freebie and the final day of the BIG SALE at DivineDigital.com! I was meaning to post this in the morning, but, well, better late than never!


First is my new album release. It follows the theme of my popular "Pirate" albums, but this one has a twist. "Pirate Girl: Treasure!" has tons of hot pink and lots of glam!




It's made from the "Pirate Girl" kit by Royanna Fritschmann, also available at DivineDigital.com. And for the remainder of the weekend, it's on sale along with the rest of my boutique! But if you're a bit late reading this, don't worry -- I won't up my prices again til tomorrow morning (and even then it won't be too bad, I promise!). Now, onto the last item on the agenda: my Boutique Freebie! The first two installments of this freebie have been extremely popular, and I expect this one will be no exception! Day 2 New Album Release!

You would not believe the day I've had! We never did get out into the sun, because a storm came in. So, I spent the day moving files from the hard drive of my 10-year old computer to my brand-spanking-new PC! And all the software I'm accustomed to I no longer have. And all of my favourites, my bookmarks, even my fonts were not there for me! I think I got most of what I need moved over now (which is good because it isn't recognizing my external hard drive anymore), but I hope I never have to do this again ;) But, man, my new PC is smokin-fast!

With all of the hassle and frustration and painful waiting today, I did manage to get my new album ready for stores. And here it is:

It's a 4-page 8x8 Mini Album made with one of my favourite Royanna Fritschmann kits, "Where I Live & Breathe". I absolutely love the colours in this kit! I tried something new in this album: I made the background of the third layout "pre-blended" with a touch of transparency, so you can fill the layout with a full-sized picture and see the texture of your photo blend into the background of the layout! I think it has a neat effect:

You can make your background picture black and white if you want to preserve the colours from the kit. It also looks great without a background picture!

New Boutique!

I'm so excited to introduce my SNAPlet boutique at DivineDigital.com. Actually, it's my first boutique, as I have just started selling my SNAPlet albums I created as part of the many CT's I am on. I currently have 11 albums for sale, all different sizes and themes. These are among my favs!

I have more boy albums than girl, because I have boys at home. But I'm trying not to be typecast as a "boy designer", so I've added some more grown-up albums and am working on more girl albums. The last one is more gender-neutral, and I just love the bright colours!

Ode to Fathers

God love 'em! Fathers are a special breed. My husband, David, turns bathtime into a water park! Here's some pics of my special guys, checking out bugs, playing with trucks, and all that manly stuff:


We're gearing up for Father's Day at our house, and I felt moved to make a little something to celebrate these oversized kids in our lives. And I remember what a co-worker told me, "the worst day of fishing is better than the best day at work". I have been participating in a new challenge with Cyndi Wetmiller (Wetfish Designs) at DivineDigital.com called "Blog Me!". It's a great concept that encourages teamwork and community. Grand Opening of Kiden's Blog!

Hi all! Welcome to the Grand Opening of my digi-scrapping blog. I don't what kind of blogger I'm going to make, but I will try diligently to keep it up-to-date!


For those of you who don't know me, I am a Creative Team member to four amazing groups: DivineDigital.com, Royanna Fritschmann (StudioRA), Cyndi Wetmiller (Wetfish Designs), and DeDe Smith (Designs by DeDe). I have also recently become a SNAPlet designer at DivineDigital's boutique.


I have two adorable little boys, Alex (4) and Nicholas (2), and a fantastic husband David. And I like to show them off, so you'll find lots of layouts featuring my special guys! I also scrap for friends and family. I am currently not a Scrap-for-Hire provider. Here are some of my personal favourite layouts to-date:





"One Love, One Heart" features my three adorable guys. I made this one with Royanna Fritschmann's gorgeous kit, My Love, My LIFE! - One LOVE, One HEART.

"Family" features my nieces & nephew. It was made with Cyndi Wetmiller's beautiful kit, In Bloom.

"Here Comes the Sun" with my adorable Nicholas! I made this one as a celebration of the end of a long, tedious winter! Dede Smith's Spring Remix kit was perfect for it!
